I was seeing a women in 2005.. and at the same time she was seeing someone else.. she ended up having sex with a friend of mine.. It really messed me up. They had 2 kids... now in 2024... they're getting divorced... she always messages me in desperation moments.. She just messaged me two days ago... saying that she misses me... and that she should have treated me better etc. I still care for her.. but not like in the sexual way... but she really is acting like she does?

Woah dude, that sounds like a super complicated situation. On the one hand, it's nice to hear she misses you and recognizes she should've treated you better. But it also sounds like her life got really messy and complicated with the other guy.

If she's just getting divorced now after having kids with the other dude, she's probably in a vulnerable place. I'd be careful not to get too close or crossed any lines, since her feelings could just be from a rough time in her life now. Maybe you could suggest just talking as friends for now, to let things settle down more before making any big decisions. Gotta do what's best for you and not get dragged into more drama, you know? She is a women looking out for the best situation that suits her needs at the time. Now circumstances are changing and she's think "oh shit! What the hell am I going to do now?"
