Why is a popular girl who used to not like me being nice to me (im a girl)?

popular mean girl isn't that mean but just makes you feel lower than her is suddenly apologetic to me and being nice. what happened?

There are multiple possible answers to that question and to know the real reason, you should ask her directly.

However, I personally feel that she is perhaps not as nice as you may think and that there is something going on that made her (temporarily) change the way she treats you. Did she change the way she treats others or is it just you?

If it is just you, then I would be very cautious. One does not change the behavior like that from one minute to another. There is always a good reason behind it.

Wait it out and see what happens. In no case should you change your attitude towards her because she may take it out on you when she returns to her normal self.
