Why would this girl suddenly be nice to me?

Its not like she was ever mean or anything, but now she is so nice and easy to talk to. Before I had to kind of struggle to get a word out of her and everything we said to each other was always laced with sarcasm and we would tease each other a lot and she would get annoyed pretty fast when I talked to her.

All of a sudden, she is nice and talkative, laughs at my jokes and we can have nice conversations ( we did before, but it feels different now) now she smiles a lot, giggles and it makes me feel "good" when she smiles and looks into my eyes (before it was more like a glare lol) althougj she does look away when I make her smile.

Its noticeable and I asked her why and she didn't want to tell me or talk about it, what could the reason be?

well, I've had this situation with a guy I work with for the past few years. He would always try and talk to me and sometimes be sarcastic or joke and I did what your girl did, I either ignored him or gave him a GLARE. But, deep down I really like him. I was prob afraid to admit how much, so I built up a wall in my defense and became sarcastic with him so I wouldn't get hurt. But, after a few years of this, and nothing progressing forward, I got tired of it. So, I started trying(it was and still is very hard to do sometimes) to be nice to him. And, like you,he did ask why was I being so nice to him all of a sudder? I simply told him that I was tired of the "fighting" and the sarcasm all the time and I wanted to be able to talk to him like I would talk to anyone else. It just got old to me.

Maybe this is what the girl is doing to you. Don't over think it. Just enjoy it. Because if she's anything like me it is taking A LOT for her to be that way to you.

I am enjoying it :), especially since I've always told her that it was possible for us to get along and we did at time but she would just get annoyed whenever I made a joke or something but she would be OK with everybody else making jokes. She is a nice girl and very smart, which made getting through that wall neraly impossible because she is really good at blocking the entrances. Even with the "fighting" I enjoyed talking to her, but now its better because its easier :)

From my own personal experience, I'm kinda shy around people I don't really know. As they keep talking to me a tend to open up and it's like we've been friends for a while. This recently happened with this guy that sits next to me in school. Now we talk constantly and laugh in class, I also get in trouble for this... Lol I guess the girl is cool with you now and is more comfortable with speaking to you.

Well, the thing is that we've known each other for years and she used to be way nicer to people she just met that with me, that's why the change is so obvious :S lol

If if she wasn’t attracted to you or sure if you in the beginning, she has been observing you, whether she meant to it not, and she wants whatever you’re offering.

I’ve done this. I‘ve gone from 0 to 80 on attraction for a guy just from being around him and seeing how he operated and how he was with other people.

The biggest turn on ( or off) for a girl is the way a guy makes us feel.
Whether you’re funny, or you make her feel safe or assured, or good about herself …. or all of these things. She wants more of it.
