To me, I thought it’s flattering to tell a girl he fell in love with her looks, is that superficial, would you rather a guy tell you it was based on your personality instead?

I know there are advantages in having a good face and body but I will not commit to a guy who likes me purely for my looks cause I view it as an unstable trait. I might gain 80 pounds in a pregnancy and I might lose half my weight in a disease or sickness. If a guy is only with me for my looks, I do not have the assurance he will be by my side long term and I cannot trust that his love for me will be there tomorrow. A guy told me that when a woman is chosen for her looks, the chances of a break up are 100% if she has no other good qualities to keep him interested.

I agree with you but let's be honest though there are women/girls on social media and in life in general who want to show off their beauty, have horrible traits and get by on looks but then cry wolf when a guy only focuses on her looks but she has a poor personality.
