Guys, (be honest), do you only like girls for their looks?

Question

Its been bothering me all the time..
Either I get messages from boys asking me if looks matter to girls or girls cry saying they get no guys since they dont look sexy..
 The funny thing here is- I've already had far too many guys here on GAG who are in need of a hot girlfiend (hot as in-with nice ass and boobs and all that shit..) saying other girls are not good enough for them..
 How unfair is that? 
Guys who are unattractive look for girls who are attractive  letting the other girls who they consider unattractive feel like dirt..

  nobody could separate people as attractive and unattractive..
People are people.. And all girls are beautiful..
 Is it just my fate that I've come across many guys like that or do all guys look only for looks in a girl?
 Coz a pretty face and nice body is not everything.. :( :'(

I think attraction is important. You don't want to be with somebody that thinks you're physically unappealing right? Different things matter to different people.

For me I don't really care about body at all. For me physical attraction is about whether I find their face attractive. I've found women attractive that other guys didn't. And I've seen women guys found attractive that I didn't really care for. So it's about what I consider physically attractive.

But that is far from the only thing I consider. I have met plenty of women with a pretty face I would never date or be interested in, because they aren't my type personality wise. Doesn't mean there's something wrong with them, they just aren't for me.

If it were easy to find a person really right for you, then it wouldn't be very special. So you just have to hold out, because every kind of person that can exist out there exists. Over 7 billion people out there, if you can think of a type of person, they are out there. Just have to find them, that's the hard part. Nonsense formula either, that's why Sen people let life take the wheel and leave it to fate.

Guys happen to be really visual and visually stimulated so they look for what is attractive to them, pretty girl, pretty face and nice body, blah, blah. Guy's can find other things attractive like her personality and character as every guy has a different visual preference they all have pretty similar baselines. Now being an asshole about it is messed up and putting others down simply because they don't find them attractive is immature and shows on there character. More things play into just looks, but looks do lure guys in and its the same for girls, don't even lie! :P

My wife has objectively perhaps the least attractive face of any woman I dated, she's above averge but of the women I dated, she's at the bottom. Her figure is in the middle.

So while it's true I only dated above average women when it came to marrying that was of minimal importance.

I think that's the way it is with looks and lots of other traits. There is a minimum required anything above which is a bonus but at the same time once the minimum is reached other things become more important.

But age is one factor. Boys just get to excited with the supposed "hot girls".
Others are home education and society.

Give it some more years and maybe some men in your life will start knowing how to enjoy a woman.

i personally agree with you. All women are beautiful. Each in her own way. And a hot body and nice ass isn't everything. Outside beauty will fade. No matter how hard someone tries, age gets the best of us and that'll be that. However, a girl who is awesome, someone to appreciate her for who she is? That'll hopefully last her lifetime. And should if you treat her right.

Honestly, looks are very important to guys much more than girls, just like a magnetic personality is more important to girls than guys. That being said looks aren't everything, they just get me attracted to a girl but I'll need to know her more to see whether I want to spend time with her.

To be honest, yes the first thing we notice is looks but that is not the case sometimes. Once, a girl whom I had no intrest in just started talking to me and she would text me, we became close and after sometime I just fell for her. she still doesn't know that...

No of course not. Of course you have to remember that often it's looks that first get you interested in a person but I never date someone based solely on looks. Personally I am turned off by someone who knows they are attractive and flaunt it or look down on people who may not be as attractive. Another thing to remember is that it makes for a miserable relationship when your personalities clash no matter how good looking your partner may be.

Mostly yeah we go for physical appearance and we have been evolutionary programmed to do so. Just like women are attracted to height, social status and money etc. After all we are still animals.
