I'm just trying to live my life and be comfortable, not even happy necessarily, just comfortable. If someone loves me then great, if people like me then it definitely helps but I'm not living my life just solely based on serving someone else's needs or approval.

Once, a man said that to me. "You're the girl of my dream." Then I walked away thinking... hmmm so he'd be disappointed to know me in reality because I'm not perfect. Without bonding and healthy conversations, I'd be just his fantasy.

I am not a guy but I find that meeting a guy's standard of beauty is easier than meeting a straight girl's standard of beauty for a straight woman. Men seem to find anybody with a generic and common looking body and face attractive while woman are nit picky about every detail on a woman's body and face cause they do not have a biological incentive to find the average woman beautiful so they scrutinize over peculiarities and details.
