I heard this is common with women whenever there are drinks and dancing is they take the drinks with them to the dance floor jic. It's to ensure no one messes with their drinks if they leave it behind.
Do you do this girls?

Absolutely yes! Unless there is a designated drink watcher… I won’t even drink the same drink I left at the bar if I go to the restroom. A friend of mine told me that whenever she goes to a nightclub or a bar? She gives one bartender $20 bill and says please keep your eye on my drink all night, or at least when i go dancing, or to the restroom. It’s just one anecdotal example, but nothing has happened to her… So if you go to the bathroom a lot, it might be a lot more economic feasible to just slip the bartender a $20 than it would be to buy a new drink every time you come back from the restroom,.
@Malwi93 That's a bit mean. I'm sure there was a nicer way of writing that, which did not look like you were insulting me. (Even though I made it very clear that I would NEVER touch my old drink once I left it unattended.) Additionally, I think it's a bit childish to point out that a friend of mine is "naive" because SHE understands the IF the bartender WAS the predator, he would have drugged your drink before he ever gave it to you... Why The Fuck would he wait until you go pee? He’s the one mixing your friggin' drink FFS! If a bartender wanted to drug you, he could do it literally any time before he gives you your drink. So tell me, how does YOUR super-sophisticated "Not trusting the bar tender" work when he’s making your effing drinks? I'm waiting 🤔
i was gonna delete her rude answer but eh.
anyways i highly doubt bartenders do anything to peoples drinks. i mean im sure you could find some out there who did but just no where near as common as dudes at the bar.
I completely agree @Still-alive! I mean if the bartender wanted to put something in my drink, he could just do it while he… gee, I don’t know… MAKES MY FCKN’ DRINK? thanks for not deleting it. While I do usually really hate rude people and their petty rude answers, I absolutely LOVE it when someone tries to be a prototypical “mean-girl” only for her plan to blow up in her face because she didn't even begin to put any thought into it!!! I mean OMG, "the bartender is the predator", so he needs to WAIT until I pee, or dance to put something in my drink! 🤦♀️ Oh Jesus, that was just so NOT thought out by @Malwi93 like, not at all!!!
I've heard that it's good to take your drink with you if you're at any big party, having a new date, etc. to ensure it doesn't get drugged with something funny. Or ask for a new drink if you don't take it with you.
I might take my drink with me. If I leave the drink behind, I’m done with it. A girl should never ever leave a drink she intends to go back to unattended or go back to an unattended drink! If she leaves it behind, it’s done.
No, because I usually go with multiple friends who can watch my drink.
If it was me id just drink yours then buy you another lol :p
lol I thought it was to avoid dancing with guys they didn’t like 😂 I don't know why.
Anyways thats a smart idea, and it might look cool too (for awkward dancers lol). I’d probably try that if I ever took up drinking.
I never really as to worry about this since I don’t drink. Plus if my water bottle isn’t sealed, I won’t accept or drink it. I’ve heard stories about people getting b their drinks spiked
i don't go to bars but yeah if i do and drink some iced tea i will guard that iced tea eith my life
I usually drink it before I go out and dance.
