Modern pads come in different shapes and sizes literally. They got muchhhh thinner after the modern technology. I don't want to make everyone "love" them.
However, having a preference and "hating" aka shaming are to different things
Not sure who you’re talking to, because that’s not a common belief. In fact, more women wear pads than tampons. Also, you have to stop being so impressionable to what people say. That is literally the dumbest thing to argue about.
I think the same. Like who cares about the way you collect your own blood? It shouldn't matter. May I ask which country do you live in?
I think it is mostly men or ignorant women making that statement. Each woman is different. Their flow can be light or a river and having four girls none are the same. One goes through tampons in minutes, Dont think of using [ I think they are called Tassaways ] cup-like object in her, pads she calls a mattress a maternity pad that she has to use and she still leaks at times. One has if you can call it that a normal period. the nezt girl has hers chemically induced due to a partial hysterectomy at 8 yo due to cancer. One gets a period one or two times a year and she goes to her gyno two or three times a year to keep tabs on her insides.
It’s not, loads of girls wear pads, it’s just down to a girls preference.
you can likely get man pads as well
There's lots of women who wear pads more than any other period product out there. If you're a heavy flower, you'll wear pads, period panties, or diapers over anything else. Unless you're going swimming then yeah, tampons it is.

This is NOT immature! Who said this shit? Incels? Mind their own business! Pads are convenient: I would not like to have to wash menstrual panties and with cups I would be very clumsy!
Unfortunately, the opposite opinion is pretty popular irl and online. Not incels, like basic girls:-(
It's mostly "tampons" are the win for them
Not all girls can wear tampons and so pads are a better option.
This is the first I'm hearing of that, all the adult women in my life have used them.
That, probably, depends on the place you live. In some countries, like the US ( Germany and others) tampons are the leading product. There's a shame culture as well
I am in the US though and I've never heard of any shame from my relatives or friends about it, nor have I seen it in feminist or anti-feminist circles which I've been in both.
Maybe some real idiots are around me... Thanks tho
Maybe, or it's like a new thing? The last big shaming thing I heard of between women is the Breastfeeding vs formula debate which probably won't go away anytime soon
No idea. But I heard about period products from ladies in their late 20-30s as well. So don't seem like a fresh trend...
