Have you ever played this way of piggyback ride were one get's down on all fours as a horsey?

I know this might be a tad unusual or oddly specific, but I've been really curious: has anyone else ever played the game, also known as the 'horsey ride', where one person gets down on all fours and the other rides on their back? I've noticed that my nieces and cousins absolutely adore this game and always want to ride on my back. It often takes me back to my own childhood, especially when I remember a girl who lived next door to me. She was a couple of years older and loved nothing more than playing the 'horsey ride'. It was a regular occurrence for her to have me play the role of her trusty steed, complete with makeshift horse gear. It was a blast for both of us! But it got me thinking, why do so many girls seem to love this game? From what I've observed, it's a favorite among my nieces, cousins, friends—pretty much everyone! They always insist on more rides, too. What's the deal with this game? Does it hold a special allure for you too?

"Allure"? What an awkward word to use to describe this. Anyhow no I have never done this as a child. In fact I have never seen anyone do this either. Not in my family or other families growing up. I didn't realize until now that this was a game as you so put it. I suppose children might get a kick out of doing this with their parents or relatives thinking or pretending they are riding an actual horse. I could see that. Children have a wonderful sense of imagination so that would make sense they would find this amusing. I have never actually done it as a child or otherwise. The closest I can relate to is my dad picking me up on his shoulders and walking around with me up there so I could see better at things like parades and amusement parks etc.

sure, I did this with my kids all the time. I used to do pushups with one of them on my back too.
