Yup, I've ridden horses. I wear cowboy boots too. But I'm not a fan of riding in general. And horses don't tend to like me either, LOL. I'm about 205 lbs. A lot of riding stables set weight limits below my weight. I've had to sit out rides while the rest of the group goes on a 2 hour excursion because the stable didn't have a horse that could handle me. I had one horse who would rear up, turn his head and try to bite me, etc. to express his displeasure at my weight on his back. I dismounted and walked him. Problem solved. Still got to see the scenery.

Yes as a teenager I used to ride every weekend and looked after the horses till I learned one of the most beautiful ones (Nimble) there had to be killed because they'd been spooked in the paddock and ended up tangled in the fencing and were too badly injured to survive. After that I haven't done it.

Yes, we had horses in our school and I have ridden them many times during games period, under the supervision of the stable people obviously, never by myself.

My favourite horse was Badal (cloud in Hindi), because he was always patient with me, other horses never allowed me to ride them! Sadly all these horses are shifted from our school to our school's residential campus.

Yeah papa used to raise horses, used to help him all the time when I was just a little girl, became very familiar with them over time. I even had my own horse at one point, they are fun and a great companion animal. :) 💜

I went to a week long dude ranch retreat for five summers. I loved it. Too bad horses cost a fortune to board, feed, etc...🦌👍
