Girls, is age preference an individual thing?

I'm friends with a woman 12 years younger than me, and we get along well. Yet when she talked about someone she found disgusting (because of sleeping around), one of the things she said was "ew, just think of the age difference" (of five years). Now this got me thinking if she might think of me the same way.

Eh, I think it can almost be generalized that (younger) women do have an ick about dating guys younger than them. My roommate is 31 and she says she’s never dated or never wanted to date a guy younger than her, and I’ve met plenty of girls like that.

So they'd rather date guys their age or older than them?

Older. I think the psychology has to do with being dominated and older men feel more dominating.

Well, she’s your friend so I imagine that’s not an issue. But if you’re 32 and she’s 12 years younger than you then yeah, it makes sense that she would be skeeved out a little by a 20 year old dating a 25 year old or something similar. There’s a very big difference in age and experiences at that point that make it a little sus how someone 25 would make the choice to date someone so much younger than him.

Then you shouldn’t be worrying at all if this girl sees you in a light of sexual attractiveness or not

Yeah it's an individual thing. Some women don't care for older guys. Some do.

I've always liked older men more.
