Not just a turn-off, a deal-breaker. I've met a number of women over the years (in person, out in the world) and started talking to them, and found them interesting, only to have them smoke, at which point my interest in them was completely gone.

Kissing a person who smokes is like kissing an ashtray. AND it gets into her clothes, into the upholstery in her car, into everything in her apartment... it's definitely a turnoff. She would have to have a WHOLE LOT of positive attributes to overcome this! And if you marry her and she won't quit smoking? You may be in for a lot of medical expenses in later years, and she may not last that long!

I will smoke socially if someone offers etc but I am also someone who avoids going out to be social so that's not very common lol.
So yeah it don't bother me, I would probably influence them to start vaping though as it's just better in many ways.

Honestly, I think cigarettes are disgusting. But a girl smoking is kind of a turn-on, because if she'll put something as gross as a cigarette in her mouth, maybe she'll put other things in her mouth.

Smoking cigarettes is breaking a rule. When I see a girl smoking, I wonder what other rules she's willing to break.

It never bothered me when I was dating. I dated girls that smoked before. The part that was gross was when I went out to my car the next morning after going out with her the night before. However I am glad my wife does not smoke. Besides the health aspects it has gotten pretty expensive.

There's something intoxicating about making out with a woman after a cigarette. It tastes horrible and yet you can't get enough of it.

Ultimately I would rather be with someone that has functioning lungs in the long run but causal smokers don't bother me.

I puff a cigarette once every blue moon so it would be hypocritical to judge too harshly

From my personal taste, my partner is a 9. When I first saw her, my mind was freaking out and got nervous like crazy. I walked up to her. Happy Ending.
Now if she was about to smoke a cigarette, that 9 becomes an instant 0. I won't deal with smokers. I've seen it a few times before where the woman is very beautiful but as soon as she starts lighting up that cigarette or vape, I look the other way, no exceptions.

If she has done it in her past, I wouldn't mind still being with her. But if she's currently smoking, I wouldn't be with her. I'm talking about cigarettes or cigars.

Vaping or weed, I don't mind at all. I'll vape with her just won't smoke weed. But I don't mind being around her smoking weed.

Absolutely.

I had the biggest crush on this girl who was gorgeous, smoking hot, edgy, quirky, super super nice, and we vibed so well. I wanted to ask her out so bad but she smoked cigarettes.

And that's one of my absolute "no"s in a partner. So I never did.

We are still great friends though and she's engaged to good guy. I'd say I feel like I missed a chance but honestly what I feel is relief.
