What should I think that my girlfriend openly criticizes something that I organize?

Every year I organize a game tournament with my friends, and there are several discussions on how the rules of the tournament should be.

My girlfriend participates willingly, but showing no enthusiasm at all. She often criticizes my decisions or suggestions. It's on her right of free speech, but she does it on purpose. Once she decided to stay with us without playing, showing herself bored.

I'd prefer she doesn't participate, but she always does. It's embarrassing.

Dude, that's super whack of your girl to act like that at your tournament. Like you go through all that effort to set it up and she's just bitching the whole time? Not cool.

My guess is she's trying to like, one up you in front of your buddies or something. Make it seem like her ideas are better so she looks smarter. Girls can be competitive, ya know?

Or maybe she's not that into games and is taking it out on you. Still not an excuse to rain on your parade though, man.

I'd say talk to her, just be like hey I notice you always criticizing, that hurts my feelings. We're supposed to support each other. Then see what she says.

If she keeps it up, might be time to be like sorry babe your negative vibes aren't welcome here. We come to have fun! Don't let her bring you down man, you worked hard on that tourney.

You should say to her, you appreciate her going to it, but if she cannot be there with a good heart you don't want her there!
