Do guys between 5'6-5'8 get automatically disqualified by women?

After looking through tinder and checking some youtube street interviews you can only conclude that almost every woman short/average height/tall whatever wants a 6'0+ guys. How true is it? Is it more of a trend or current reality? Isn't major rule "few inches taller than me" doesn't work anymore?

Also heard about "height inflation". Basically guys add a few inches to their height to seem close to 6 so the whole perception now might be messed up. Your thoughts?

In general girls prefer a guy taller than them so they feel safer and more feminine. Lots of girls are less than 5’5 so a guy who is only 5’7 would still be taller and should try to approach her in public. Not wasting time on a dating app
