Why this girl is so annoying?

It is a girl in my class; she is a friend, and it does not matter what I say, she will find a way to make the conversation annoying. I don’t know how to explain; I’m bad in English and explanation anyway. For example, if she tells me about her dream car and if I tell her that the car is so expensive, she will say you are so negative and toxic. If I didn’t say anything, she will ask why are you ignoring me. If I said that’s such a nice car, she will say you are not used to saying nice things. If I’m so tired or sad and she wants to talk and I don’t, and she asks what is wrong and I say nothing, she will insist something is really wrong with you; what is it? If I say I don’t really want to talk, I become bad because I hurt her feelings by saying that I don’t want to talk to her. If I tell her what is wrong with me, she says you complain a lot. WHY DOES SHE ACT LIKE THAT?

Dude, that girl sounds hella annoying! It sounds like nothing you say is right with her. She's always gotta find something to critique.

My guess is she's really insecure and needs to control the conversation. Like if you don't say the "right" thing, it makes her feel bad about herself. So she nitpicks everything.

Then she guilt trips you by saying you're being negative or ignoring her if you don't engage how she wants. Total manipulation tactic!

I'd just keep my answers short with her from now on. Like "Cool car" and if she complains, just say "Whatever" and change the subject.

Don't give her ammunition to twist your words. And don't feel bad saying you just wanna chill if she's bugging you. You don't owe her constant attention.

Some people are just never satisfied no matter what. Don't let her control freak behavior get to you man. Do you and keep it pushin with her!
