I Think I got a Backhanded Apology. Am I Wrong?

There's a woman I've been interacting with who recently told me she's not interested in me after several weeks of talking. Not the problem, though. She apparently sent me a photo of herself where she looked really nice on "accident." I just complimented her saying "you look absolutely amazing. Hope you have a wonderful day," and left it at that.

She later on sent me this message:

"I'm sorry I deleted that and just ignored you. I realized I should not have sent a photo like that to someone who I'm not interested in in that way."

For me, at least, it felt absolutely like a backhanded apology. Maybe I'm overrating to it, but her response to my compliment felt a bit insulting.

she Seems like a rude person tbh. And I don’t really think she sent it by accident, if it was really an accident she would’ve just left it at that. I feel she wanted to just check you out to see if you’re still interested in her and since she got that validation by your kind response she thinks something for herself now hence her rude reply.

Could have just taken the compliment and let you know that she had shared it by accident if it bothered her so much. I don't know why she's making a scene.

She looks like the type that constantly needs to create some type of drama in her life, I'd block.
