Why do women blame men for their options to wears bras?

But I always wonder if bras are so bad then why dont they just stop wearing bras? is not like there are any laws or religion amendments that say women must keep bras on while they're out. however then ones that dude advocate the refusal of wearing bras still wear them and act like victims claiming that men are the reason why they can't go out without a bra like if men actually cared. if anything I seen women bodyshaming each other more than what men do.

So here’s the thing about bras from a busty woman’s perspective: there is nothing you can do about how men will objectify and dehumanize you just for having cleavage you can’t get rid of. I’ve tried, multiple times, to just wear something cute that I like and then men on the internet will see it and be like “oh shit that’s so hawt 🥵🥵🥵” and send me dirty dms describing what they’d like to do to my body with disturbingly explicit detail, it makes me regret posting anything at all.



Bras are necessary for me because if I go without them it’s a fairly obvious sight. They’re unfortunately large and move with the rest of the fat and liquid in my body. Some girls are lucky in that theirs don’t really move, theirs can be supported by the air alone, I am not part of that group. We don’t hate bras because of men, we hate that men make bras necessary. In this sense I mean that if I go out somewhere, not wearing a bra and it’s obvious and something happens to me, I will be made into the source of the problem rather than the man because people will and do say things like “Well you were walking around without a bra, it’s no wonder he targeted you.” If I was wearing a bra, that wouldn’t necessarily make the victim blaming comments leave but at least more of the fault would be on him than me for what happens.


Breasts are a natural sign of being a woman and femininity and masculine culture sees an inherent submissive sexuality in femininity that brings out the absolute worst men. Having a bra, while helpful in maintaining a certain level of comfort and necessary support, is seen as something of its own burden like wearing a skirt or just being openly a woman on the internet. Men make a lot of things about womanhood a burden when they act like this, that’s why you keep hearing women talk about it.

I don’t think anyone should ever receive gross messages or made to feel creeped out or degraded. I didn’t know you could feel targeted if you didn’t wear one. I think from my perspective it is great that you have those features , but not that you are made to feel like an object

@RyanR03 every woman has been made to feel like this in the same way every woman knows at least one woman who’s been assaulted and every woman has a safety checklist she runs through on a first date with a friend in case their date is a serial killer. Women live with their guard up constantly because men often don’t realize what they’re doing or how it makes us feel

I will say I have that I know what a few women have told me that they receive in their DMs and … I am not trying to sound naive but do these dudes beleive that any reasonable woman would respect nd well to those type of messages. Honestly all the DM access has lead our societies to some very bizzaire and unfortunate results. Some people just lose all sense of decorum and default to complete lizard brain. But that’s just online stuff. Dont get me started. The instant DM access has made this all aooo easy for guys that they are losing all sense of decorum

But in person , for a woman. Yes I get it. I have a daughter. 16. And women do have to be very careful. The online access has emboldened certain types of guys who would have otherwise be much more constrained in a world prior to all that. That being one where a guy has to approach her in person and get to know her. B. And honestly sex is something that women should not give a way so easy. It can very quickly weed out the impatient and unsavory sorts.

I personally don’t care. I know nipples on women are considered sexual and I prefer my nipples being covered especially around the presence of my boyfriends family. It just feels right that way, and honestly I’m not very much a conservative woman.

I hated wearing a bra. So when I retired off came that over the shoulder boulder holder for good!!
Haven't worn one since. Sure, I have breast a person can probably see, but I don't care what they think. That thing is off and going to stay off!
