Ladies, is it strange that the man of my dreams is only in a movie?

One girl has told me it’s not a problem, just wanted to know what you nicer ladies think. I wish I knew a man like him in real life. It makes me want no one else.

No it isn't strange really. It is easy to get caught up in the whole movie star thing. The glits and glamour of the way movie stars are portrayed on screen makes it easy to develop those type of lusty feelings towards them. Just remember when the camera is off and he is in private it might not be as peachy as you see on screen. He could be a total self absorbed a-hole that doesn't treat people well. You are better off finding a down to earth guy that is going to treat you right and not be fake, which many of those Hollywood types are. Again... remember that you are basing your feelings off seeing someone perform a role and not how they are in real life. That is important to differentiate reality from a movie role.

Be mindful of parasocial relationships but ultimately, yeah. Every woman knows the feeling of comparing fictional men to real ones. You can always tell when a man was written by a woman because of how much better he is by comparison to the real thing, much like in the opposite direction you can tell when a woman was written by a man by how overtly sexual and two-dimensional she is.

Ha, I understand that, it was just out of curiosity. In some ways I wish I were a woman. Probably wouldn’t have to work if I married a high paid doctor or lawyer.

No, it would just be unpaid work as a housekeeper/chef for your spouse
