I'm fine when friends or family members do that. But the kind of guy I like is one that doesn't abandon me as easily as everyone else does. And seeing how he's willing to stay with me would actually kill me with kindness, whereby I would instantly realize that I don't deserve such a patient guy like that. So then I'd go on to try and be as non toxic as possible around him, cause he more than anyone else deserves my best behavior. That was the case with my lovely ex. I still cherish him dearly.

He only had to put up with it for a week. After that I soon realized how nice he was

I have never been cut off for being toxic. Guys tend to stick in the game even if you are annoying just so they can hopefully one day get into your pants, even if they don't like you.

Then cut her off, its fine. But usually someone toxic will not see it as their own fault, they will blame it on everyone else lol.
