That is one option, though you can learn what you do that is so annoying and then replace the behaviors with more effective patterns. Ask yourself whether you'd prefer being alone or learning how to interact with people more effectively. I'm not saying you need to be a chameleon. Choose friends that are compatible with you. Then it is much easier to fine tune our choices. Never become something you're not, just to be accepted.
You label yourself as annoying, so you want to unburden others from that which you choose to do. As an example, 2-year-olds will constantly respond to any answer you give with "but why?" You'll feel they are just doing it to annoy you, so you may respond with "because i said so." You can teach them how to be curious without always saying "but why?" It's up to us to determine if we want to be annoying or we want to be alone or we want to learn how to get along with people more effectively.
