Ever been to a bar where the staff were more interested in doing shots with themselves than customers?

like i can't think of many bars like that except for one in my hometown , like literally every time i go there the female servers are doing shots behind the bar with themselves. i'm not sure why there allowed to do that as many bars don't.

but have a really hard time trying to recall any other bars where i've seen similar behaviour on a regular basis.

which is why i'm wondering if anyone else can recall seeing anything similar.

and no this isn't when customers come up to bar and ask to buy server a shot cause she hot , this is just them doing shots by themselves when working and not doing them with customers at the same time , these are staff shots that only involve them

not busy last Friday night either , this doing shots with staff doesn't seem to be bringing customers in the door , going somewhere else Saturday night instead

sometimes they do this when its not busy , do a shot among themselves, perhaps its to get into the mood or feel better about a busy night.

but often it comes across as self serving and strangely odd a bar would be more focused on serving shots to the servers who work there than actual customers who pay the bills and buy things from them

but can't really think of any other bar where i've seen this go on , and occur on such a regular basis

was even worse last weekend , saw manager go around bar and do 3 or 4 shots of tequila with other staff members and those just ones i saw

another dull weekend , wasn't there Friday but was Saturday and not that busy , also mentioned to the one server i'd like to do a shot tonight and she just looked at me funny and walked away. but they do shots with themselves when behind bar.

a lot of the younger people seem to be going to this new place across the street , its been doing bar nights some nights but not really a bar all the time
