Have you ever seen the manager of a bar/restaurant do 2 tequila shots when working?

i saw her do them when i was at the business and she was on duty working , appeared they were doing shots as a group but one of them refused so she did it too.

but she was working , like how does someone do there job after doing not 1 but 2 tequila shots. and she is suppose to be the manager. how can she do her job if she is intoxicated at work?

also note i've been in a lot of bars/restaurants and cannot recall ever seeing staff members do shots by themselves when at work , most places don't even allow staff shots when on duty but apparently this alcoholic manager encourages it and owner ok with it, like what is the point , there not even making money off them?

It’s pretty rare, actually. There’s a trick bartenders and servers do. They get you to buy an extra drink for them, but they drink water, tea, or anything but booze. They’re perfectly capable of performing their duties. You can’t tell the difference because you’re actually drunk. When they settle the tab, they pocket the difference between what you ordered and what was actually poured. I’ve seen dozens of bartenders and servers do it. I’ve only seen a couple actually drink while on duty. There’s too much at risk by drinking on the job. Drunks who can’t go one shift without drinking don’t last long in my experience and observations.

i saw the bottle of tequila , it was definitely real shots , was 4 poured all for staff members ,( manager and 3 servers ) but 1 server refused so manager did 2

but have seen them do the fake shot thing before , they secretly make a shot with no booze for themselves

i've never bought shots for the staff when there working at this bar anyways

yes is rare to see staff members of bars / restaurants do shots when on the job. i can barely think of any others where i've ever seen them do so called " staff shots " when on the job , but seen them do it many times at this bar but can barely think of any others where anything similar occurred ever

why would any bar prioritise staff shots? there not making any money off them and not good idea to have staff drunk or semi drunk when on the job either

If she has a high tolerance then she can totally do her job off 2 shots. Besides I don't know why you’re acting like she’s performing brain surgery or something equally important it’s just a bar.

she's the manager of a business with actual employees and customers , she should not be doing multiple shots of tequila when on the job ,

I disagree, because of the environment she’s in it’s totally fine. It’s not an upscale 5 star restaurant it’s a borderline dive bar. Probably not fancy at any capacity just a regular spot to get food and drink. I’m sure she has shots bought for her all the time, bartenders have that experience as well. It’s one thing I’d she’s pounding shots back to back that’s an alcoholic. 2 shots over the course of a shift that’s probably 9+ hours since she’s the manager is fine. She knows her tolerance. Besides did it affect your service?

she wasn't serving me , she came to the section i was in and did a shot with the bartenders working it

not setting a good example for the other staff , is under age ( not old enough to drink but can work as servers in a bar ) girls who work as hosts and servers there , she's basically saying they can do shots too when there of age and that this is acceptable behaviour for the business

Let’s just end this conversation short. They’re not allowed to be drinking on the job in general. If you have proof, like vidii/ camera, there’s nothing much you can do do but avoid this place in general
