When you speak to women, they feel like they are deserving of easier treatment because women have been ‘so oppressed’ and ‘abused’ even when if you asked the average 50s woman they never wanted to work.

My opinion:

I feel the exact opposite, now it’s women’s time to suffer. No more easy treatment and leeching off men…. you brought it on yourselves.
You had it so so much easier before lol.

No, women who play the victim but never want to work for anything don’t deserve anything. There are men who do this too but women are more notorious for this behavior, NOT all women.

It’s not even just women in the workforce. Some women think they’re entitled for a man to wife them up and have all these standards. Yet…. Refuses to offer anything of value to these “high value men” and wonder why they don’t get any men of value.

Women deserve equal treatment. If you say get a job somewhere. Don’t go crying that you’re not getting promoted and paid the same as people who have been there a lot longer, frankly who work a lot harder. Either work hard and earn it, or be a crybaby and get nothing.

As much as feminists hate men, women who are normal hate working with them. Because these women are back stabbers. They only cry sexism when it’s to cover their own ass for either laziness or incompetence. So that you can’t question anything they do.

No one is owed anything, but there's nothing wrong with having some compassion for other humans and trying to uplift each other where you can.

Women might not "deserve" better treatment or easier lives, but ultimately men have instincts to protect and provide where they can. The modern world can make that difficult sometimes, and attitudes about gender where women think men are just sexist scumbags and women are queens definitely gets in the way of that.

But at the end of the day women birth life and cultures around the world throughout history have seen that as an incredibly valuable thing that gives women inherent value.

Men have to earn their value by proving worth to society, it's just how it is.

You can either be bitter about it or you can try to improve yourself and take care of the people that matter to you. And decent women will actually be attracted to that.

Women are owed one thing -- to be treated as human beings who are of equal value to all other human beings. Period. That's the ORIGINAL point of feminism... as opposed to the spiked punchbowl of malarkey that passes for feminism today.

We're owed a life of peace and tranquility, of love and satisfaction, just like anyone else. A happy life, plain and simple.

@Summeroflove If there's a standard "starting salary" then they should have that and move up the ranks like everyone, earning it. I don't believe in getting things that aren't earned, but there's certainly unequal salary in the present day based on a person's gender, which is pretty bad, esp when someone is a single parent head of household and just trying to make ends meet.

It also just depends. There are some women who don’t put in for promotions. They don’t work overtime. The list goes on. Some do.

@Summeroflove Look, for example, I had to put in for a promotion and submitted an application with a really extensive appendix -- letters of support and documentation, etc. etc, etc. A thick packet to prove my worth to the committee. My male counterpart (there barely 5 years to my 20+ years) got the same promotion turning in a 1-page request. Why was all the extra needed for one person over the other? To discourage the woman from filing for it.

See I disagree with that. But sometimes it’s not about sex. Sometimes it’s because people with personal connections get positions they don’t deserve and aren’t qualified for and everyone has to deal with their incompetence. But they know someone….. or are related to someone

I think its fine that there were campaigns to change the picture of women only having the possibility to be a stay at home wife in the past. Now they can be unmarried/childless and can focus on their career without beeing judged.

Whetever all women want this or not doesn't matter, what matters is that they have a choice now.

Remember that you as man are able to make choices aswell. If you're not happy with the role your potential partner wants to take in the relationship then say no and keep looking. No ones forcing you to date a women who wants a career over a stay at home wife. Latter ones still exist.

I am amazed by feminists belly aching that when WW2 stopped the women were sent home. Of course they weren't kept on because there was no need to keep on churning out munitions, aircraft., ships etc because the war was over and those products just weren't needed any more.

And maybe, just maybe, the returning troops who were shot at for 5 years deserved a vote of thanks when they got home and to be given a job. No the feminists just won't recognize the hardship and dangers those men had endured. I was all about the women and not about the dead and maimed and traumatized men. They don't get a mention in the story telling.

Queen Elizabeth was a fine example to them. Did she kick up a fuss at losing her Land Army motor mechanic job. Not a bit. She recognized a veteran deserved it and she quietly went home to Buckingham Palace. Quite a lot of women were just as happy as she was.

Women wanted equality and freedom to be a man, they got it and complain when they're treated like a man. they're owed nothing and can fend well enough for themselves. They don't seem happy having accomplished their goal of independence from men and the way of life that it gives them being without a partner to share the burdens and joys of a real relationship. As many have stated that they don't need men to complete them and are happy and doing fine without them.
