How do you keep with losing the one that got away or a soul mate?

I have tried sleeping around, finding another women and now focusing on myself nothing seems to stop the pain from long its been a year

Yo man, I feel you. Losing someone you really cared about that deep hurts like hell. If ain't no one you can talk to about it, those feelings just fester inside. Here's a few things that might help:

- Lean on your boys. Open up about what you're going through, let them lift you up. A problem shared is a problem halved.

- Write that sh*t out. Put all the feelings on paper - all the good times, what you miss most about her. Helps get it out your system.

- Workout hard. Throw yourself into a new hobby or sport. The endorphins and distraction will do you good.

- Treat yoself. Do the stuff you like that make ya feel good - video games, basketball, concerts, whatever. Rediscover what you loved before her.

- Give it more time dawg. As much as it sucks, time really does help. One day at a time.

- Consider talking to someone too if you're really struggling. No shame in therapy nowadays.

You'll always care about her but it won't always hurt this bad, I promise. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other homie. Your real happiness is still out there waiting for you.
