Why can't (some) women get along?

As a woman myself it irritates me that a lot of women are always so scrappy and fight with each other and just can't get along. Why can't we just calm down and be nice to each other? Like, is anyone out there willing to get along with other women or am I gonna have to do it by myself? Which I hope not because I don't want to be the only women on earth that's willing to get along.

For men the competition for validation is pretty straightforward: who can bang more pretty women. That's pretty much all men care about until roughly their 30s and then it's more about the money - which even that seems to be partially about attracting women that would otherwise be out of their league.

But women don't really have a generally agreed-to standard of validation. You're all playing different sports on the same field and get justifiably hostile when the rules of your sport aren't honored by another but the other ends up with some trophy you would have liked to have earned with your sport. Unlike men who can compare raw numbers directly to see who is ahead, women can't do that in any sensible way. The biggest slut in your high school could end up with the richest man all the other girls were saving themselves for. Meanwhile the woman with the smallest boobs could end up with the hot guy that the slut was angling for. And the religious girl strict about abstinence could end up with the biggest playboy that the girl with small boobs was trying to attract. It's absolute chaos compounded by the PMS roller coaster basically giving you the emotional equipment of a man for a couple days per month. It nit really a question of why some women don't get along so much as how do any women manage to get along?

It's mainly due to insecurities and jealousy. Most women see other women as competition. I'm with you though. I wish there were more women who get along with each other.
