Girl blocked me out of the blue?

There was a girl at my gym that I had a crush on. I sent her a request on Instagram, which she accepted, and we ended up talking a lot. We exchanged phone numbers and talked on the phone as well. She used to call me her 'delulu,' but when I asked her about her perspective, she would mostly say that we were just friends, nothing more.

However, I was looking for a relationship. Then, another girl came into my life. She’s pretty, and she asked me to be in a relationship. I was attached to the first girl, so I kept the second girl as a backup. But since I never got any proper response from the first girl, I decided to go with the second one. Unintentionally, I started giving the first girl less attention, and of course, I was committed to the second one. Suddenly, the first girl told me that she had a crush on someone else at our gym (I suspect she was trying to grab my attention). After that, I started ghosting her, not even seeing her texts.

After some time, she sent me a 'hey,' and we had a normal conversation. But whenever she said 'hi,' I usually responded with something like 'bye' 😅—basically, I gave her cold replies.

Two days ago, she talked to me, and I gave her normal replies. But yesterday, she blocked me. I don't want to be a bad memory for someone, but I really don't understand what's going on in her head.

Well it seems both of you have extremely immature communication styles instead of just being honest you kept someone on the back burner not to mention that you “ghosted” her that’s what cowards do dude. You shouldn’t ghost anyone you should be honest that you found someone else and if she wants to chat as a friend that’s fine.

If you’re giving her cold replies why would she want to talk to you anymore? Honestly, I don’t know what’s going on in either of your heads. But if someone’s refusing to talk to me yeah I’m gonna stop talking to them too.

She thought you were rude in the way you replied to her and ghosted her and she's right, if you had a girlfriend and didn't want to talk to her anymore you should have told her instead of just ghosting her. It doesn't matter that she didn't like you as more than a friend, she still considered you a friend and you left without saying much
