Why do girls tell boys their bodily functions?

I don’t really get why a girl would sit there and talk to me about her period. I mean it’s kinda gross and…. Why do I need to know? Do these girls not have other girls to talk to about it? Especially like taking a dump I’m sorry I don’t really need to hear a toilet horror story.

Yeah, girls talk about their period because it’s part of their lives. It’s a universal experience to bleed in a public bathroom, ask if anyone has a tampon, and a stranger will gladly provide one because that’s what women do. If you can’t grow enough of a spine to handle hearing about it because “ew, icky period blood” maybe you shouldn’t date. Women bleed once a month every month from when puberty begins to menopause. No one enjoys it as an experience but we do it and we continue because it’s a necessary part of human reproduction. You’re gonna see and hear a lot about it when you date a woman.
