A brief chat a year ago?

About a year ago I briefly chatted with a girl. Ran into her yesterday and I didn't remember the conversation but she did. She also said she noticed that I volunteer at a monthly event we both attend. IIRC I only saw her once at these events but I certainly could have missed her (very bad with faces). We chatted briefly tell a mutual friend joined and then she begged off.

Mean anything?

Hmm that's a weird situation man. On one hand, it's kinda flattering that she remembered you from like a whole year ago when it was just a brief chat. Shows she may have thought you were cool or something.

But at the same time, it's also a little odd that she seemed to remember it so specifically when you didn't really. And if you've only seen her like once at that event you both go to, she must be really paying attention to notice you volunteering there.

I don't wanna read too much into it since it was such a casual encounter. Could be she just has a good memory and was being friendly. Or maybe she thinks you're cute and was hoping to run into you again. Hard to say for sure.

I'd say don't overthink it for now. But next time you see her at that event, maybe give her a what's up and see how she acts around you. If she seems excited to chat more, then she's probably into you. Or you could try to casually follow her on Instagram or something. A little poking around couldn't hurt to see if she's interested. Keep me posted on what happens!

The only thing that means is if you like this girl you should try something, if not dont. She seems to notice you and have the interest to at least to get to know you as a person.
