Why do women love to label men?

I have been labeled all my life for the wrong reasons because I was different than everyone else! When women put the friend label on me it just makes me mad. Like now i'm to fit on that cute little shelf you have for me? Pull me off when you want? Maybe be that door mate for you? Girls will have no problem putting guys with the friend label because it's pretty much a kind way of saying your a loser but have no problem not calling you a friend when it suits their needs. Women can be pretty twisted.
