Why do men generalize women?

I’ve been thinking about this for a minute.. I ran into guys like this in person and on social media and they lump all women into one group from their behaviors 🤨 and honestly when some men do that I tend to get mad because you lumping me into a group without getting to know me

Well, there are a lot of reasons, but the biggest is that women are generally not anywhere close to unique as they think they are. I mean, getting to know you as a person is hugely important on a lot of levels, but if we’re being honest with ourselves; there might be one or two things that are unique about you, but you probably haven’t lived such a wild and crazy life that 95% of who you are can’t be guessed with reasonable accuracy.

It’s the same reason that you ladies do the same thing to us. There’s nothing wrong with it. It just is what it is. I’m not very unique either

It's not that everyone is the same; it's that most people are pretty similar, and will react to life situations in similar ways. Psychology was developed that way. I'm not living under a rock at all. That's just how reality is.

People observed that when a lot of people experience a certain thing, they tend to react in similar ways. If your parents split up when you were young, you probably experienced similar things to what I did. Did you have ADHD as a kid? I did. I'm sure that probably had similar impacts on our lives.

His ex who broke his heart may not be in contact with him anymore but he can project those feelings onto the next girl and hurt her to make himself feel better.

Most people generalize things off of their own experiences , and assume the worst case scenario to the point that person is more than likely just venting and frustrated about something so they like to try to bring others down to their level when really it means shit. There are 1 million reasons why it's wrong to generalize women. Women are all different, and culture plays a much stronger part on how women (and men) will behave, so it'd much more reasonable for one to criticize culture than women since everyone is ultimately a product of culture.

However, everything negative thing men say about white women is true.
