Though she sees us as a unit (always using "we" a lot), and we have been chatting word for word buh yesterday she asked me what's in my mind all along concerning the both of us and after I told her that I liked her over text she's yet to respond even when she's online... what's keeping her from telling me her own end.

Hmm dude that's kind of an awkward situation. A few possibilities for why she hasn't responded yet:

- She may need more time to process how she really feels if things are new between you. Dropping the L-word can be intense pressure.

- Or she could be worried about moving too fast and wants to take it slow. Not everyone reacts well to big confessions over text either.

- It's also possible you misread some signs and she just sees you as a friend. Using "we" doesn't necessarily mean romantic interest.

My advice would be to play it cool for now. Give her some space and don't double text asking what's up. That could come off as needy or make her nervous.

Show you're still chill hanging out as normal but don't force talks about your feelings. Let things progress naturally. If she's still distant after that, maybe take the hint it's not meant to be more than friends.

But for now try staying positive. No use stressing till you know for sure what's what. Hope it works out bro! Just breathe and let it be.

Never express your feelings through texts. Even if the target is going to welcome the expression, the medium dilutes and make suspect the feelings (the expression "just phoning it in" is there for a very good reason).

Also, in probability, if she is not rushing to reply she's probably ghosting you on purpose as she's most likely not seeing you that way.
