Why do plastic people base everything on looks?

I have an employee and she’s thin, fake boobs, long blonde hair. I am a bit chubby and usually look like I’ve been dragged through a hedge. I do think I’ve got a pretty face but you’ve got to see through the messy hair and chub. I am however funny, kind and smart. She is not. I do get a reasonable amount of attention.

When she sees someone being flirty with me she’s like “awww good for you”. There’s a guy we both like, but he likes me and it kills her. She can’t understand why he would like me over her.

I meet loads of shallow people like this, so caring about their appearance and they think that is the bottom line. This girl just think she’s entitled because she’s undergone a knife and had plastic pouches shoved in her.

So basically you have someone who is obsessed with looks over authenticity who then can't grasp why authenticity is better? Your basically answering your own question, she doesn't have a personality that lets her see the value of a personality so instead she tries to one up everyone by artificially dehancing her looks.

Many people value other qualities such as intelligence, kindness, humor, and personality more than physical attractiveness, but sadly, you won't find that unless you are prepared to put in the hard work. You have to dig through the trash to find the gold.
