Because you haven't got to the point of realizing what it's really doing to you.
It's fun because you don't have to care you don't have to think you don't have to be responsible
There could become a point to where your body craves it and when that happens it's no more fun
So all I have to say is just do it responsibly because before you know it no matter how much control you think you have over it you actually don't but a point in time will come that your body craves it and that's when all the fun stops so do it responsible be responsible with it00 Reply

1 ybecause alcohol wipes out common since, removes inhibitions (it's not called liquid panty remover for nothing), removes social constraints and reasonability, it makes you plain not care, plus you feel great at the time, it affects your thought processes like thinking you're God's gift to the opposite sex and you can fight the world and win, that ten you hooked up with the next day is really a two. Some of the most memorable mistakes are made while drunk, some are damn funny and you laugh later and some you never get over. But it's fun and you'll do it again.

1 yThe buzzed feeling is part of the chemical reaction of ethanol in your body. It depresses parts of your nervous system, which is fine at the beginning but as you become more exposed to it, it does more damage and it actually ends up just depressing you as your nervous system loses its ability to function. It’s all well and good to have fun but be mindful, always have a DD and be careful of your drink intake compared to your body weight.

I mean, getting drunk feels like you are putting your brain on idle. Only the basic functions are allowed to be working. You laugh at simple things. No over thinking. No creeping thoughts of doubt or worry. You are giving all of that a time-out.

I think there are some common reasons why. Inhibitions are lowered, things that might not be funny can be, it can help be more social, it can help forget about stressors for a time, it can feel good until it doesn’t. I met some friends because we were drinking together and started talking. But I also danced on a coffee table in nothing but my thong at a house party because of too many margaritas (would not do that sober! fun at the time, but the next morning was hell!) So there are pros and cons.
10 ReplyIt is not fun. How is it fun, to get sick enough to throw up, have an awful headache, and wake up feeling that your brain if full of cobwebs?

Regret 20 ReplySometimes it is, sometimes it isn't.
I've had lots of fun being under the influence of alcohol.
I've also had the opposite of fun being under the influence of alcohol.
To me, the suppression of inhibition is why it CAN be fun.
It doesn't always work out that way, though.10 ReplyIt’s the sex. Always the sex.
Case and point being you’re less likely to wanna get shitfaced if you’re alone or with a small group of friends you don’t intend on getting with.
Then you have the people with drinking problems, those are just trying to outrun the demons00 Reply
1 yBecause it inhibits the part of your brain which controls impulses. It literally loosens you up. It's called liquid courage for a reason. You're more likely to just do what you want to do and say what you want to say. That's why there's a saying that peoples true character comes out.
Truth is I personally find that alcohol brings out the best me as well.00 Reply- 447 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic.
m 1 yIt's not, at least not for me. A slight buzz (two beers) is the maximum I like.
Also, do yourself a favor and observe the aging (physically and mentally) of people that are constantly drinking, long-term. You don't want to do that to yourself.

10 ReplyI can't speak for others, but I only drink when I am already happy. With that in mind, being drunk lowers my inhibitions and gives me some liquid courage to have an even better time 😅
00 ReplyIt's really not lol. At least not to me. I drink once maybe every several months and have been blackout maybe 6 times. Never found it that great despite my parents swearing that alcoholism runs in my family. It does seem like girls especially really enjoy being drunk though. My girlfriend says it's because she loses her insecurities.

1 yI prefer not to be drunk. A couple of glasses of wine if ok, but that's about it.
I'd rather be sober and remember the things I've did, than to have to rely on others to tell me.

1 yIt really depends on how you do it and to what degree. I think totally sober is a lot more fun, although I tend to have so much fun that people sometimes think I'm drunk!

1 yIt gives you the excuse to do the things you always wanted to do/express your hidden desires. And you can blame it on the alcohol, and 'pretend' you don't remember anything.

1 ybecause your brain inhibitors don't react normally. chemically, you aren't thinking straight. i don't believe crime while drunk should = crime while sober. yet it's the same

![Why is being drunk so fun?]()
However, I limit myself to only one drink or occasionally not the full drink because I stop as soon as I start feeling the effects. - 1 y
1 yI don’t drink, so i don’t have an idea.
Though, I’ve seen some and I think they are more talkative or euphoric and more confident. They seem to be really happy.
00 ReplyAsk the booze. I love it. Quiets all the nonsense. I think I use it as an off-label ADHD medication.

1 ythe barrier between what you want to do
and
what you are doing is removed
so all the fun things you want to do you are more likely to do
10 Reply I think some people like it because it gives them an excuse for poor behavior (e. g., next day "walk of shame"). I knew a guy who used grab women when he had been drinking. He blamed the booze for his inappropriate behavior.
