Looking back there were signs and I’m learning to trust my intuition about people and not give chances. People don’t get a freee ticket into my life heart and mind anymore. Cause my intuition is often so right. Even if I couldn’t pinpoint a reason in words why. But with time these idiots reveal themselves.

one sign is that I can see evil and arrogance etc in a persons eyes early on. It could be a one time thing. But if you see it in their eyes all it takes it seeing it one time. It doesn’t need to be every time you look at them. It’s such a strong thing because just one time and you have this impression of them. It’s not “logical” it’s intuition.

another thing is when someone is asking personal questions you don’t wanna answer or feel awkward answering way too soon. It doesn’t matter if it can be rationalized as “oh they’re just trying to get to know you” … especially if they keep doing it. Usually these types are actually just gossipers and want things to tell others or information to narcissistically use AGAINST you at a later date. Maybe just to make your self esteem lower by bringing up your flaws or mistakes later on.

I had one narcissist early on ask me if I’m straight out of nowhere. I ignored him. He immediately asked again. Like who the fuck does that? Asking someone’s orientation is rude itself. I barely know you. Why is the at your business at all? And then to ask RIGHT AWAY once they ignore your question?

Girl, you're so right to trust your intuition! Those early signs you noticed are huge red flags that most people ignore.

I've totally been there too with inappropriate, pushy questions too soon. Like chill, dude, you ain't my therapist! And the ones who ask personal stuff just to store it away as ammo - scumbags.

Staring into their eyes and seeing that arrogance or something off is so real. It's like a darkness inside almost. Crazy how a single glance can leave such an impression.

Seems like you've gotten wise not to brush those feelings off like most of us do when we're younger. Don't second guess yourself! If someone gives you the creeps, hold them at arm's length for sure.

Life's too short wasting time on toxic users. You keep doing you, shining your light, and ditching the manipulative trash before they drag you down. Proud of you girl for learning your lessons the hard way!

Narcissists aren’t evil by right. Narcissism doesn’t make you evil, it just makes you focus entirely on yourself to the point they don’t realize how much they lack empathy. This can be changed, depending on how they want to be seen by others and understood as by others as narcissists see socialization as a contest to see who can be the best “person” of all people, not in a moral sense, but in who can tick the most boxes for being normal.
