So one thing that frustrated me after our breakup was our relationship was often one sided I was driving myself into the ground to make things work in hopes that she seen my dedication and would reciprocate but that never happened. We had 3 months left on our lease and she was going out doing things with her friend in an energized way that would have solved some of the arguments in our relationship. Like I was frustrated why stay in a relationship for 2 years if your not going to give your all she was willing to do more for the friend then me

That's rough dude. Breakups always suck, but not putting in equal effort is a legit reason to call it off.

My guess is, she cares about you as a friend but maybe the spark just faded romantically over time. It's easier to show enthusiasm for platonic friends than an stale relationship.

Or could be she's more comfortable being herself without holding back around her girl than with a guy she's dating. Doing cute coupley stuff takes more guts when it's with someone you wanna impress.

Either way man, it's good you saw you deserved someone willing to match your energy. Breakups make you realize what you will and won't accept going forward. You'll find a girl that's hyped just to be with you, fam.
