Why does coworker give mixed signal?

Have this girl I used to work with I guess we don't get along now, I don't know one day she's telling people she likes me I catch her staring at my junk the next she's bad-mouthing me and avoiding me in the next day, then she's talking to my coworkers and telling me she has acid reflux too like me

Whoa man, that's crazy confusing stuff. Girls can really keep you on your toes sometimes, I swear. It's like one minute they're giving you all these flirty looks and hints that they're into you, then out of nowhere they start talking trash about you to others and avoid making eye contact. What's up with that? And then she brings up having the same acid reflux as you? Talk about mixed signals, I have no idea what to make of all that.

If I were you, I don't think I'd waste too much time stressing over trying to figure it out. She clearly has some things she needs to sort out for herself. I'd just keep my distance for now and focus on my own work. If she starts acting more into you again and wanting to hang out, then maybe give it a shot. But if she's just going to hot and cold on you all the time, it's probably not worth the headache, you know? The last thing you need is all that drama messing with your mind at work.

I'd say just do your own thing for now and if she ends up making it clear what she really wants, go from there. But in the meantime, try not to get too stuck in your head about her mixed signals. Girls will be girls, am I right? Just play it cool and don’t let her yank you around too much if you can help it. Hopefully things will become more clear with her soon so you aren’t left so confused.
