i almost never cry (psychopath?) - “The Last of Us”, made me cry and my friends started freaking because they never seen me show emotion. Esp 3 that music the best esp ever I don’t even like same sex scenes. Thinking about it I cannot be a psychopath I cried the rest of the season 🤣 a course I was watching Pedro Pascal

I play hockey (beer league, nothing impressive, lmao), and for a variety of reasons I’m kind of expected to be the guy (or at least one of the guys) to protect other players when things get heated…

Fought with this goalie several times…nowadays we’re friends😂

Usually you just let them know they might have a bigger dance partner and they chill😝

So basically I have to go over and act all tough even though I’m a grown adult, lmfao. All of us are🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤣🤣🤣 But anyway, for better or for worse, it happens, and sometimes it’s easy, just on account of a natural inclination to protect a teammate and someone you’re just generally friendly with.

But other times, I wasn’t even looking at what happened, and I just see a commotion and have to hustle over and be like “whyyyyy IIIIIII oughtaaaa…” Sometimes I go back and watch the camera footage and it was my own teammate causing the problems, lmfao

SAME goalie, on my team now🤦‍♂️😂 I came flying in but ended up getting HEMMED UP lmao. He was a gent though🫡

That guy could’ve murdered me in that position, I was dead to rights, lmfao. Very cool of him not to🙏 But yeah, went back and saw this tape…I should’ve known that kid started it🤦‍♂️ Bumped the other guy in the handshake line. But I was at the back of the line, so I just went and got in there.

Anyway, I definitely have situations where I have to kind of fake it. Especially now that I’ve been in the league a while and know a lot of the guys. A lot of the fighting was early on.

So two guys are shoving, but I know both of them, probably played with the opposing player a different season in the past. That kind of takes the wind out of my sails, haha. I just come in and get in between, and I’ll be like “Easy, Mike…don’t do it…”.

If I don’t know the guy, or do and we don’t like each other lmao, it’s easier. But responding to commotion that I’m not sure how it started, I need to kind of be deliberately angry, artificially angry …which isn’t really angry at all, in reality😅 It can turn on real quickly if needed, but I do feel a little silly in the middle of some of these scrums, like “if only my mother could’ve lived to have seen this…🤦‍♂️”😂

I think in general a lot of men pretend to act like they care about a lot of things in their girl’s lives. Like how their day was at work. They know women need to talk, to be emotional. As for myself there’s nothing I do that I would consider fake. If I don’t like something or not into it I’m not going to pretend. I’ve outgrown trying to please people by faking things.

I don't fake stuff... but I kind of delay stuff

when dealing with very stressful and intense situations I can just "absorb" a lot of negativity and terrible emotions, and I can seemingly remain not so affected by it, because you know... you're kind of in charge, and you gotta keep going and moving and sometimes others also rely on you to be that

it can be crushing and draining, and in a way I am sort of "faking it" in the moment, but it's just actually more of delaying all the worst effects of it, at the worst of times, I don't feel like myself, and later... after being through it, I can keep pondering for some time, how the hell did I go through it

to have to say "I am fine, I got this... we'll get through this, it will be okay..." is something I've had to hope when deep down I kind of new it was not going to get better, so... but you know, you just have to go through storming and just get that boat to the shore...

and I am strong, yes... resilient, yes... I can withstand a lot, that's not fake, lol, it is just that not so many get to see or know how many times I've had to rebuild myself to be more of myself, again

I pretend to like pets, especially Dogs.

I don't like dogs, they are an abomination of nature, bread from wolves.

I can tolerate other pets like Cats. I actually love smaller pets like Bunnies or squirrel..

But I don't like dogs, Their Bark is loud. However, everyone loves them so I pretend, that I am Scared of them and keep my distance, but in reality I don't like dogs!..

I don't hate dogs either, I wouldn't go around killing or harming them, and if a dog's was stuck or injured I would help it!.. but not a longer bond!
