Girls, Why do women hate men for having a blue collared job?

So I worked as an auto mechanic and I was on Bumble looking to date this woman I met. I chat her up for days and she was cold that time ever since seeing my profile. She saw that I had a slightly dark skin complexion and she admitted that she's a bit disgusted. When she verified my profile she also saw on my bio that I am a proud blue collar man who loves to love.

I attempted to ask her out on a coffee date and at first she was hesitant by saying "Umm... sorry I don't normally go with guys who offer cheap dates because me and my time are worth more than that but, whatever let's go.". This didn't bother me because I'm used to being trashtalked by friends so I just took it as a friendly insult.

I ordered two coffee's for both of us that time but when we first met though, she immediately got disgusted by my appearance since I'm just 5'5 and I'm wearing jeans and sandals that time. She got very mad at me claiming I just wasted 12 minutes of her travel time and immediately slapped me in the face. I began crying after this and I had to pay the other coffee for nothing. Ladies, what's the reason why you judge men based on their height or on their occupation?

No nation would exist if it was not for the blue collared people because they are the ones that really built it, not the white collared ones that plan but that don't make their hands dirty.

A surgeon could not perform an operation if it was not for those people that manufacture the scalpels, the bandages, the MRIs and none of those that you see as "hating men" would be where they are if they could not put on makeup, drive a car or use an ATM because all those goodies were made by blue collars.

Just as @PrettyPriya states, using labels on people you don't know is not what the real problem is. The real problem is that some people are superficial and your example is a good one of a typical superficial, self-centered and egoistic woman.

You were just unlucky to fall on one of those exceptions.

No one hates that. You are just projecting. This is nonsense. While my husband is not blue collar, his father was.

He built up a company that we are now blessed with. I was lucky to find him. I now have a beautiful family.

It would have not mattered if he was a laborer or anything else. He is my may, and I love him.

If you knew half of his life, you would have not asked such a silly question. We all have it hard sometimes. We are all ‘blue collar’ in our lives at times. Stop using labels on people.

It sounds like you were dressed sloppily on the date. Just because you’re a mechanic doesn’t mean that you can’t make yourself look nice.

Also, you should not have continued with the plans for a date after she told you that she felt you were being cheap. That should have showed you that she didn’t have much interest in you and that she was maybe only interested in money. I don’t understand how you could take that as a joke.

She also told you early on that she didn’t like your skin color. Why ignore all of this and still try to go out with her?

You also focus too much on your job being why women don’t like you. You’ve made it too much of your identity and even have it posted on your profile. Try to show more of who you are, not just what pay grade you’re in.
