Completely depends on the situation depends on what was said and done. I will say that nobody deserves to be sexually harassed even if they’re wearing something skimpy. But a lot of these women who do this (not all women by any means) are looking for attention they just get angry when it’s not from the men they want it from.

Some women also like attention so they exaggerate what was said or done. Even if nothing sexual was said or implied. Sexual harassment means something has to be SEXUAL… Asking someone on a date for instance isn’t sexual unless you make it sexual for people who have their head in the gutter thinking everything is sexual.

Most these men are desperate men who for sone reason think this is how you get attention. Maybe from sluts and degenerate women. But decent women don’t like being yelled at from the street.

At the end of the day it depends on the situation. Every situation is different and women who cry wolf disgust me. Not only hurting innocent men but also women who are a legitimate victim. Because people will take it less seriously when every Karen thinks that a man simply looking is sexual harassment.

Would it make a difference if it was a stranger compared to if it was a friend or family member, or would it matter what she was wearing (or what you have seen her wear) when she said it?

It would and like I said. I don’t think anybody deserves to be harassed. But my wonder would be is what she’s saying true or exaggerated.

There is no excuse for sexual harassment even if someone’s walking around naked (although that most of the time is a crime in it or itself)

Problems arise both with women who lie or exaggerate. As well as women who allow men to act like that towards them and so those men think it’s okay to do it to other women. Until they fuck with the wrong person

It’s just hard to say anymore it really is. All in all if someone feels harassed they can go to
The police. But to convict someone you have to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.

I'm not asking whether you would convict if you were on jury duty in a trial. I'm asking about being told as a man, by a woman, that she was cat called. Do you personally need proof to believe that?

Not if it couldn’t be proven beyond a reasonable doubt a crime was committed. Freedom of speech isn’t a crime. One persons word against another isn’t hard evidence.

Unfortunately people lie and it hurts real victims.

Now aside from the law my personal opinion. My opinion would be based off the woman herself the way she talks. Who she is. If she has a habit of making things up or whatever.

If it’s someone I trust yes. If it’s someone whose questionable I would have my doubts. A stranger it depends
