I can hardly find 1 or 2 hairs in my brush. I don't like hair stuck in the brush. I remove them immediately.
I wash all my combs every month or two.
But my hair is not so long that I can compare it with women. But I sometimes grow it at least half a foot

The brush is supposed the distribute the oils in your hair.
I haven't used one in decades but, when I did, I'd clean it out when hair got loaded onto it.

A couple times a week I clean all the hair out of it and put hydrogen peroxide on it. I have a few brushes, so, some I don't clean as often.

Yes of course. I remove stuck hairs after every brushing, I generally clean them every few days, and like once every two weeks or so I thouroughly clean it even with shampoo.

  You're supposed to brush curly hair while wet... So it's doesn't frizz out. How do you deal with tangles?

  @Smashingdoozy Wide tooth hair comb while in the shower - sometimes that's not even required and I detangle my hair with my fingers.
  
  Frizz isn't so much about tangles as it is about your hair needing either moisture or protein + baby hair. That I battle with good hair products. (Without any gross chemicals)
