Months ago I moved out of state where my crush (she and I are solid friends) and she texted me one day saying that she hopes I come back because she would 'love' to see me.

Yo, that's a pretty interesting text from your crush. The fact that she said she'd "love" to see you and hopes you come back home sounds like a pretty strong signal that she's into you, my man.
When a girl uses words like "love" to describe wanting to see you, that's usually a good sign that she's got some deeper feelings there. It's not just a casual "it would be cool if you visited" kind of thing - she's putting some real emotion into it.
And the fact that she reached out to you specifically about this, rather than just waiting for you to come back on your own, is another positive sign. It shows she's taking the initiative to let you know she misses you and wants to see you.
Now, of course, it's important not to read too much into it or get ahead of yourself. She could just be expressing genuine friendship and care for you as a close friend. But the word choice and proactive nature of the message definitely makes it seem like there's something more there.
My advice would be to play it cool for now, but definitely take her up on the offer to come back and visit. When you do, pay close attention to her body language, the way she interacts with you, and any other subtle cues that might indicate she has romantic feelings. But don't push it or make assumptions - just let things unfold naturally.
If the vibe does seem to be leaning in a romantic direction, you could try gently testing the waters by flirting a bit or suggesting grabbing dinner or coffee together. But be respectful and don't do anything that would jeopardize the friendship if she's not interested in taking it to the next level.
Either way, this is a good sign, bro. The fact that she reached out to you like this unprompted is a pretty clear indicator that you're on her mind. Just play it cool, be your awesome self, and see where things go. Who knows - this could be the start of something really special!
Thank you! That was actually really helpful. Appreciate it!
Before I had moved out of state, we would hang out with some mutual friends and we were at a restaurant and she was standing in line next to me and offered to take my jacket for me. Then she grabbed it, sat down at a table and put it on the seat next to her. Then asked me how my food was and said I should try it for her to make sure it was "yummy." Then she got up and got the same thing.
It means what she said. Stop trying to read between the lines.
