there definitely running some sort of scam that targets out of town men with credit cards , true most businesses target men with money but this place takes it to a new level or a new low.
i found an article online from Europe about bar scams and this place checks off just about all there red flags. the girls drink really fast , suggest more drinks , approach men ( red flag cause women don't normally do this ) , failing tests if you try and ask for # or social media they won't add you.
note this bar is located in north america where i live and its the " staff " who are running the scam not the customers which is what makes it really weird that they do this. there is girls who work there who will approach men and pretend to be interested in them and then get them to order more drinks to increase there bill and often then get them to buy free shots for them and other girls who work there. despite fact they already get a staff discount and could get them for less or free.
then they make them pay the huge bill and never speak to them again , its definitely a scam and there definitely not interested in any of these men as most of them already have boyfriend's anyways , its just for the money i guess and free drinks.
but its got an otherwise good location and busy during the summer so i can't understand why owner and manager would go the route of a scam bar , its like sick and twisted that they'd do this to people
https://euromentravel.com/travel-tips/safety/bar-scam-real-life
A scam is a dishonest plan to trick people into giving away money or personal information
so essentially this is a scam bar if there being dishonest with customers about there true intentions , a girl that has a boyfriend in a small town is not looking to meet out of town men at a bar , that just doesn't make any sense why one would
It usually means that something is reprehensible, disgusting, or messed up.
its fucked up
does this not apply to this bar? like what is wrong with the owner and manager to allow this
and most crazy thing yet manager is claiming they cannot get twisted tea anymore, no not making that one up ,

I don’t feel sorry for the men who follow this. They paid for the drink to get sex. If they wanted to be generous there are plenty of dying hospital patients in Africa they could share their money with. I would never date a guy who tries to get dates by buying you drinks. I would date a guy who buys sandwiches for homeless people.
i don't know if the men buying drinks at this bar really expected to get sex out of it , its like a trendy spot people go on weekends during the summer.
the manager is a women ( lesbian ) and i think she must like hate men or something by doing this to them
been thinking about your comment , i definitely don't think men should be coming here with the purpose of hitting on staff members at restaurants downtown. even if they were " single " its not really something they want to deal with at work and creates a very toxic atmosphere.
they should be trying to buy drinks for single customers only
that is why i don't understand the owners mindset he is enabling bad behaviour and creating a perception among these men that they have a chance with these girls when they don't only to sell a few extra drinks
Oh fucking hell, not you again. SEEK HELP DUDE.
@Agape93
Lmao that article is just an incel cry session. No wonder YOU found it XD
did you at least read the article it talks about actual scam bars and what they do to men with credit cards.
this place checks off all the boxes of a scam bar - the girls approach men at the bar , they drink really fast , suggest more drinks , fail tests if the men try to test them
i recall once a guy asked for one of the servers #'s boy that went over badly she gave him a fake one but he didn't wait till next day to call , he tried to call it when she was still at bar so he found out and it started a big argument and a customer told him to leave
actually i was the " customer " that told him to leave but at the time i didn't know they were running a scam bar and i didn't know he was likely trying to test them to see if they were really interested in them or not
i just assumed he was a drunken idiot who was trying to take things way too far with the poor server girl who was only like 20 at the time and yeah. but realise now the servers did this to them selves and were obviously up to no good
i'm not incel , i found it by searching for bar scams targeting men on google , there wasn't that many articles that came up and thought this one had some good aspects
all the things there doing at this bar are mentioned in the article as being signs of a scam bar , if its not running a scam why do all the dots connect and point in that direction?
why would a server girl who already has a boyfriend approach men in a bar and pretend to be interested in them? obviously a red flag she is trying to scam them out of money
None of that shit is a scam and doesn’t even support your point. That is talking about girls going out and scamming NOT service staff.
That is their JOB to push more drinks and be super nice to customers. You are a psycho dude.
I think @BoopBoopBeep was the one to call you out as a potential mass shooter. I believe it.
true its there job to serve customers and get them to order more drinks.
but they get them to order them shots too? who goes out to a bar to buy free shots for the bartenders? that seems so weird doesn't it
your right normally its customers doing the scamming not the staff. although in that video its possible the women doing the scamming were connected to that specific bar and might of secretly been staff. cause they took him to that specific bar and intentionally ordered really expensive items to ring up bill
i've seen these " scams " go down when i went there ( note i haven't been back in that bar since mid Oct ) but last time i was in was this group of 4 out of town men and they like hit on them rate away and started talking them up , getting them to order stuff , scoring free shots. all leading to a huge bill that they have no choice but to pay or else
and why would the staff target men specifically? i've never really seen them target groups of women for these scams its always men often drunk men or bachelor parties
Because men will spend money on pretty girls serving them. Are you that dense? Seek professional help. You clearly need it bringing this bar up over and over and the staff.
Jfc…
true servers are often pretty and men buy things from them and tip them well.
that being said since these girls are pretty and in a busy bar wouldn't they just normally make enough money to earn a living. why do they need the scam and target these out of town men
i don't believe for a second there not specifically targeting these men cause i've seen the scams go down first hand , no girl with a boyfriend in a small town is interested in some out of town man she has never even meet before and she already has a boyfriend , obviously she only wants the money
its like server greed out of control and going down dark paths , what on earth do they need the money for so badly?
You’re psychotic bruh. Answer me this. I live in a city of around 100,000 people. Not huge but by no means small.
We don’t have a single strip club where guys strip. We have five “gentleman’s” clubs where girls strip.
I know this because boys in my class would turn 18 and go to these places. Guess what? They gave the girls money and didn’t even get a drink out of it.
Now, how do you explain that with your fuckwit logic?
He's just going to deny it or say they're just secret. Fucking psycho
but when men go to strip clubs there is an expectation that the women there are employees and its just a fun night out , what i'm saying is you know what your getting when you walk in the door
this place in my city its like so the opposite , the men walking in don't know what hit them , they think there just going into a spot downtown on the water for a few drinks.
they have no idea the staff there are going to target them and do this in order to increase the size of there bill and score some free shots.
but that being said as mentioned in article there is signs to watch out for and these men have clearly let there guard down and fell for these girls tricks. they want to believe there really interested in them and don't want to believe its just about making some extra money
but obviously a girl from a small town who already has a boyfriend is not seeking out men from cities far away to be her boyfriend , that makes no sense why she'd do that. so obviously she is not interested in them.
but what i'm not sure about is if owner / manager told them to do this or if girls decided on there own to do this? but obviously they know there doing this , manager is often present and owner has place on video survelance so he see's everything
What’s the name of the bar, and don’t tell me you can’t say. You obviously have an issue with them so why would you care if I know the name?
So, what is the name and location.
they also don't provide this level of service to other customers , infact is a lot of negative reviews of google maps for this place from last summer , a lot and most say the customer service was really bad and servers didn't even seem interested in being there
yet when these out of town men show up there suddenly so interested and talkative and pay so much attention to them.
but actual customers are writing into google saying the place has bad customer service
( an actual review for this place from google ) a month ago
We visited the restaurant on a busy weekend attracted by the gorgeous view they provide and the review comments and was looking forward to a pleasant meal. Unfortunately,
we did not end up eating there as my experience was marred by the rude behavior of the staff.
When I approached the counter, the employee seemed uninterested and dismissive, which made me feel unwelcome. Despite my attempts to ask questions about the sitting arrangement with a small kid , I was met with curt responses and a lack of basic courtesy. The receptionist were extremely unwelcoming and not answering our questions as if they are doing a favour.
Customer service is crucial in the hospitality industry, and it’s disappointing to see such a lack of it here. I hope the management addresses this issue, as at least myself and my friends are never going back there as no one likes to be disrespected , nobody is doing anyone a favour here , customers pay the bill for the food ! Please train your staff to be polite and welcoming. We wasted 30 mins just standing !
What’s the name and location of this place. I’m not asking again. I’ll just mute the post.
@Agape93 ( read this review they ignore minorities and provide terrible service ) but somehow they manage to provide optimum service to these out of town men to ring up there bills , this place is sick and twisted

CA$40–50
We came here as a lunch stop on our way back to the city The view is really nice. The food was okay but it is on the more pricy side. The service was terrible. We ordered our drinks and one appetizer and our server never came back to take our order till we flag someone down. She also never checked in once with our table until we grabbed her attention. This could due to the fact that we are the only minority there. Would not Recommend.
Everybody knows what they're getting when they walk through the doors at this place. Everybody but you, because you're a smoothbrain cockholster that wanks to scrambled antennae signals of women who might look like the waitresses there.
For years you've had men and women tell you that you're just being some incel freak that obsesses about this bar, and you always counter that we don't know what we're talking about, including those of us who work IN THAT SAME industry. I've seen people who scored a 5 on the Glasgow coma scale with a better grip on reality than you. I just hope I don't read about you in the papers one day. If you weren't in Canada I'd venture you'd be on a 5150 hold enough times to get your little punch card filled. @Abbycado is the latest to spell it out for you, but you're going to keep going to that bar and tormenting those poor employees with your sick obsession. You think they don't know you're a freak? They know. They're just being polite because they are afraid you'll go mass shooter on them or wear their face as a mask when you dance naked in front of the mirror.
the actual name and location is not relavant to our conversation , i've tried to explain what is going on here best i can , there isn't like any news articles about it , it doesn't even have an active facebook page and its instagram is rather dull with no pictures of bar itself just food pics and such. so is nothing to even see. a google search brings up rather little other than the reviews i've posted
the bad reviews have oddly stopped since the summer rush ended , most seem to be from May > Sep was when a lot were sent it but not from rate now
@BoopBoopBeep no the men don't know what there getting when they walk through the door , that group of 4 men i saw there when i was last in during Oct looking completely lost when they left and walked out , almost like they didn't even believe what had just happened
note i have not even been in this place since mid Oct and have not heard or spoke to any of the staff since either.
perhaps they wonder where i went but it doesn't seem like place has been very busy since either , mostly empty when you drive by and google liv data indicated its very slow most times
@BoopBoopBeep that’s right. I do have experience in the service industry. I work at our yacht club.
I get contracted (along with other girls) through the club to work on the big yachts serving drinks or food or maybe to look after kids for the rich folks.
I get tipped exceptionally well and guess what? They aren’t buying food or drinks from us. They provided it.
Oh yeah, and guess what also? All the girls are attractive because that is what the old rich guys want to see. I even have a club uniform that has shorts that if they were any shorter would require a hairnet if you catch my drift.
*work in the summers I should add
@Abbycado
Oh I bet a yacht club is fun. Bet the tips are good too. Not for me if I wore those shorts. Though they may tip me to put on a mumu or something. :P
some people have suggested this place has similarities to a golf course club house and perhaps that was the owners inspiration to create it the way he did. hot younger women serving older men just like at a golf course
its not weird the owner wants some attractive women to work the restaurant its weird he won't even allow men to serve there , he's never allowed there to be 1 male bartender ever , he won't allow it
and he doesn't even post jobs ads on actual help wanted sites here cause he'd have to accept resumes from men or women he didn't find attractive so he finds his staff other ways
we have places like that here during the summer that specifically hire young women who are attractive and such
but what goes on at this bar i keep talking about is not the same , there doing things you wouldn't see staff do at other places
the other spots aren't out scamming men cause they already make good money at golf courses and high end places right
https://i.postimg.cc/T1QnrmpF/IMG-1324.gif
you can believe me or not believe me about what has gone on here or not
a couple summers ago i recall seeing one of the bartenders making non alcoholic shots for herself and asked her about it , was like i didn't want to do the shot
but she was still charging them for the shots as if she was doing an alcoholic one
is that not a scam if the servers aren't actually doing the alcoholic shots sometimes but still charging the customers for them?
and they also always ask these men where there from? almost like its a screening question to make sure they don't scam anyone local who is going to come back next weekend and think there actually interested in them
they want to make sure they say there from some place far away and never going to see them in the bar again ever. is that not a clue there is something off going on here?
the girls sometimes don't even do real shots? they always ask the men where there from like its a pre screening question before the actual scam gets real
@BoopBoopBeep if this isn't a scam? than why are they only doing this at the place they work and not other area bars and restaurants?
i've never seen any of these girls at other bars doing what they do here. not meeting out of town men , not doing shots with strangers , not pretending to be single
there only doing this at this 1 place which is what the article says , the red flag is girls pick the venue when doing this and only do the scam at that place. true there not walking the streets looking for men but there bar is popular enough the men come rate in and no need to seek them out.
which points in the direction that it is in fact a scam and intentional , likely to make them extra money and help that bars daily sales / bottom line
but there definitely not actually interested in meeting these men , its totally a scam

AI Overview
A scam is a dishonest plan to trick people into giving away money or personal information
some definitions of " scams " you don't think what the girls are doing here is possibly a scam based on those definitions. are they being honest with these men when they claim to be interested in them?
is that not by definition a deceptive act or dishonest plan? not saying everything that goes on at this restaurant is a scam , obviously the majority of the daily transactions are legitimate
but they clearly have a plan to trick men 30-40 into spending more on the basis there female staff are interested in meeting them and being friends with them at the bar. despite fact these girls all have boyfriend's and obviously aren't interested in meeting out of town men at a bar
and when these plays go down its always white men , 30 - 40's , never college age men and never like seniors always younger men 30-40 and never groups that contain any women only all male groups like bachelor parties or tables that are only men.
but makes financial sense to target men that age cause they'd have jobs and disposable income right? and when out drinking with friends more likely to let loose and spend more freely especially if there being encouraged my female staff members to buy the group shots
update from Friday night , still have not been back in but was downtown and was nearby this place.
observations it didn't appear busy for a Friday night , was a few people i saw leaving no one entering at all , appeared they had a few people in there from 8 - 9 ish but no one really came out later
and appeared they had been over serving them too , the one group of girls i saw leave looked really drunk and was these 2 men i saw leave , the one was so drunk he fell into the snow bank when he was trying to get into the vehicle that was picking them up
he had obviously been over served there if he was so drunk that he could not even stand up and fell into the snow bank when trying to get into car
and the spot down the street that does karaoke on Friday night was very busy , never been in but appears people are going there instead , its not a huge space so capacity small but seemed to have it mostly full
its like they don't even care anymore
they can lose their liquor license for over serving people , yet they don't even seem to care if they do
how can anyone claim that man was not over served? so drunk he actually fell backwords into the snow bank when trying to get in a car , he couldn't even get into a vehicle he was so wasted and that was only around 9 30 pm not like it was closing time and they were clearing out the bar
and they don't seem to care that place isn't even busy on a Friday anymore , came up with some lame specials that don't even bring people in
no one goes out to an empty bar to save a couple bucks on a bottle of beer from 10 - 11 pm only when everyone is obviously somewhere else that is busier and actually has women at it
You need therapy
the people at this bar need therapy , it needs help and soon
the management of this bar need help and soon , its not me but them that needs help. i'm just a customer who has been forced to witness this train wreck over and over again. it needs outside intervention at this point
i also have not been in the bar since mid Oct , i realised it was time to run and get the hell out of there well i still could
