Could be that now that they know you have a thing for their friend they are going to hope and pray you will agree to go out with them first. Of course that is a stupid assumption but hey you can't argue with them giving it a shot. The thing that would make me peeved is you would think that they would be good friends to the guy that you like and help the two of you get together. If it were me I would just tell them not interested and sorry.
