This is not necessarily my opinion, just wanted to try to give you a thoughtful response.

I think that what people hear when others say that is that you want to live for yourself and only yourself. Which to them, can come across as selfish and arrogant.
I also think that many people believe you will change your mind (hopefully not when it's too late in life) and/or that there is not much purpose to life outside of that, so they wrongfully resort to shaming as a tactic to get you to change your mind.

Because there's a high chance that you do and your just delusional, so that's unattractive.

Your a woman, you have the equipment built into you to want to do that... So if you genuinely don't, then that's quite rare statistically.

Then there's the issue that a lot of men want kids, so sort of puts them off.

Also non gender related, anyone who dosent get on well with kids is a bit untrustworthy... Rightly or wrongly so... But thats how it is.

I'm 34 and now, 16 years is like a week next Tuesday.

My point is, how could you possibly know what you want to do with your life, it WILL change and evolve. Some things may not, like your choice for kids.

But for the love of god don't get anything permanent, give your future self the chance to reconsider.

Its like all these sex change ops in teenagers... That will be a scandal of sex abuse and malpractice in 10 years time guaranteed.

Get a tattoo or a piercing or somthing, don't cut your uterus out. May have other complications unrelated also.

Plus, what if you have a sister or a realy close friend later in life, whom desperately wants childern and you were willing to suragot or somthing.

All I'm saying is be thankful for what you have in life, it's not your choice but be greatful... It works out better.

Because my fiancee wants to do 80/20 (he makes more than double my income), so I’ll pick up the slack by doing household chores and stuff. He only lets me contribute just so that I won’t feel useless haha
