Why is my ex too rude at workplace?

We were onn and off. Now, by accident, we almost cross paths every other day, though we live at a distance of 5 kms. She sees me and walks away even without talking. if we are standing on the same side of road, the minute she sees me, she cross to the opposite side.

So at work, she is in my team. Her interactions are minimal. Moreover she is cold and acts like we dont know. She sings and laughs with all but blatantly ignore me.

Our WhatsApp conversations, she would respond almost immediate when I text, but are often short.

It is not affecting my professional life or work, but almost affects my mental health. Considering I was the one who chased her for years and rejected her when she was finally into me.

You treated her like a second option. Unless you keep perusing and fighting or sit down and have a talk with her “hey we need to sit down and talk, we have issues” <— this approach actually worked for me when I behaved the same way with a similar experience
