I think it's fine for a girl to be a tomboy if that's what she wants. But then it should be her choice.

I think it is probably fairly common for parents to introduce their kids to their own interests and see if it's something they also like and might share.
Maybe try to get their kids to root for the same sports team they like and such.
I think it can be fine within some limits.

But the parents should also listen to their kids, what they like to do and how they want to be treated.
Also within limits. Like if you give your kid anything they point at they probably get spoiled and entitled and that's not good either.

I understand parents not wanting to impose gender stereotypes on their children, but imposing the other gender's stereotypes is just as bad!

I think girls should be raised as girls and if when they are growing up, they feel more masculine and want to change themselves, then the parents should let them do it. But it should be the girls choice, not her parents choice

Encouraging is different. Forcing is different. For eg, if parents have a daughter and she wants to become muscular, dress masculine or cut her hair short, then i dont see anything wrong with giving her encourage ment.

It depends on parents
