How to get my female friend to text first?

My female best friend rarely texts me first about anything. If she does, it's usually for help with study. She suggests fun activities we can do together when we hang out in person, but I am always the one who has to initiate and organise these plans. How can I increase her interest? She's very shy so I don't know if that plays a part?

If you want to talk to her then talk to her lol. Don't play games...

You are obviously very interested in her so let her know by being genuine. The next time you feel like talking to her, do it... text her... call her...

That will possibly increase her interest, if If she is not already interested and waiting for you to contact her again...
