Been close with a girl for some time, we nearly dated but didn't then we've been distant since November due to some miscommunication
Yesterday I was in a voice chat with her and a friend playing a game, she makes a comment that she's way too single and we talk a bit I reply back that I am but not really looking if it happens it happens, she then replies with "Nah you're not going to be single for much longer, I just feel that way"
I introduced her to my friend group and aside from myself she's only really close to two others but they're online only, I only live about 3 minutes walk from her place, behind my flat there's a public walk path where a few times I've seen after work she'll just walk past my window as you can see directly into my living area, and she's admitted a few days ago when we went on a walk she'll always look at my window when walking past but from her work she'll have to walk past her place to get to where I am
She made comments around that time that she's been single the last 3 years etc so I feel there's strong hints, as I know she's been struggling to date or have a relationship with someone lately so I have a feeling she's playing coy trying to make me make a move
The biggest issue is she's moving away very soon, infact the end of January 120 miles up the road, I would absolutely love a future with her as I can honestly imagine marrying this girl
What do you guys think her intentions are here?

Dude, this is a pretty tricky situation you've got here. Based on all the little hints and comments she's been dropping, it does sound like this girl you've been close with might be trying to drop some not-so-subtle clues that she's interested in you. The whole "you won't be single for much longer" thing, walking past your place, and opening up about being single for a while - that's some pretty strong flirty behavior if you ask me.
And the fact that she's moving away soon makes it seem like she's trying to get your attention before that happens. Kinda like a "last chance" type of vibe. She might be hoping you'll finally make a move before she has to leave.
At the same time, I could see how you might be overthinking things a little. Sometimes we tend to read into stuff more than we should, especially when we really like someone. So it's hard to say for 100% certain if she's straight up dropping hints or just being friendly.
My advice would be to try and pay close attention to her body language and tone the next time you interact. If she's making more eye contact, standing/sitting closer to you, playing with her hair, or finding little excuses to touch you - those would be some pretty clear signs she's into you. Versus if she's keeping more distance and acting more platonic.
And if you do get that sense she's interested, I'd recommend making a move sooner rather than later. Since she's moving away soon, you don't want to miss your chance, you know? Just be cool about it, maybe ask her out on a real date and see how she responds.
Worst case scenario, she shuts it down and you can move on. But if she's been hinting like you think, she'll probably be stoked that you finally made a play. Either way, at least you'll know for sure where you stand before she leaves.
It's a tough call, but I say go for it, man. What do you got to lose? This could be your chance to turn this friendship into something more. Just trust your gut and don't overthink it too much. Shoot your shot!
I appreciate the reply dude, thank you :)
We had a fun exchange over Snapchat two days ago, she was on the train traveling where she made a comment saying she looks bad so I commented back actually I think she's cute just to be lightly flirty, she replied back along the lines of "of course you'd say that" in a fun jokey way
We've not spoken after that, I joined in with a friend streaming few hours later where I saw her comment for him to jokingly kill me in game out of the blue so I do think she has a eye on it, though again it's hard to tell what's me overthinking and what isn't
We didn't talk yesterday, infact she's been dead quiet. I was in work most of the day and I know she traveled back home so I've not tried to be a bother really, I do have all day off tomorrow so I have the idea she's likely to reach out to talk or even go on another walk as back in November she asked to go on a walk to try feel things out between us dating
Agh I just hope it's good news, I really do
Aw man, sounds like things are gettin' pretty interesting between you two! Those little flirty exchanges over Snapchat are definitely a good sign that she's got her eye on you. The joking around in the stream too - she's definitely tryin' to get your attention.
It's totally understandable to be overthinking things a bit, especially with the uncertainty of her moving away soon. That's gotta be adding a lot of pressure, huh? But try not to read too much into the quiet yesterday - sometimes people just get busy with their own stuff, ya know?
I think the smart play is to just chill and see if she reaches out tomorrow like you're hoping. If she asks to go on another walk, that's your golden opportunity to kinda feel things out and see where her head's at. Maybe find a nice casual spot to grab a coffee or something so you can chat one-on-one.
Just be cool about it, don't come on too strong. Feel out the vibe and if it seems like she's into you, maybe drop a hint that you'd be down to make it an actual date. But don't force it if she seems more interested in keeping it friendly. The key is to not get ahead of yourself.
Regardless, I got a good feeling about this, my dude. Sounds like she's definitely diggin' you, even if she's playin' it a little coy. As long as you stay confident and just be your authentic self, I think you've got a real shot here.
Just play it smart, stay positive, and see where it goes. I'll be rootin' for ya! Let me know how the meet-up goes tomorrow - I wanna hear all the juicy details, haha.
Appreciate you man :) Suprisingly we didn't, in-fact we've not really spoken like at all since so it's been about 4 days
I do think she's avoiding if not just keeping distance as I sent her a snapchat video to start a conversation which she viewed but didn't reply to, I posted on my discord about a upcoming stream later with friends she didn't reply to, but when one of my friends did then she was in there.
On another friends server we were joking around so I joined in and we had a few comments back and forth in a jokey manner I kept it positive, but there was like 10+ of us so i didn't get a lot of time.
I do think because she's not had a lot of luck with dating (She seems to feel that in a lot of guy's eyes she's not that desirable aside from sex) she's scared as she feels I'm not just another guy that wants her body, which would make sense to why a few days ago she said she feels that I "Won't be single much longer" then to go incredibly cold but that could be me overthinking again
Honestly i don't know at this point
Damn, that's tough bro. It sucks that you haven't really been able to connect with her much over the past few days, especially after it seemed like there was some real chemistry and interest building between you two.
The fact that she's viewed your Snapchat and messages but hasn't responded is definitely a concerning sign. And her being active on your friend's server but not really engaging with you directly is kind of a red flag too.
It really does sound like she might be pulling back and creating distance, which could very well be rooted in the struggles she's faced with dating in the past. You make a really good point - if she feels like a lot of guys are just after her physically, she might be scared to let someone in who she thinks actually cares about her.
I can see how that would make her feel really vulnerable and put up those walls. And the timing of her moving away soon is probably only adding to that anxiety and uncertainty.
Honestly, bro, at this point I'd say the ball is in her court. You've made your interest clear, and it seems like you've tried to reach out a few times. But if she's shutting down and keeping her distance, there's not a whole lot you can do to force the situation.
My advice would be to give her some space for now. Don't keep bombarding her with messages or trying to initiate contact. Just let her know you're there if she wants to talk, and then focus on yourself and the other important relationships in your life.
If it's meant to be, she'll come around. But you can't make someone open up or commit to something they're not ready for. Protect your own heart in the process, you know?
Just stay positive, my dude. There's someone out there who's gonna appreciate you for who you are, and not just see you as another guy trying to get in their pants. This girl might be that person, but if not, the right one is out there waiting. Don't lose hope!
Sounds like she has a crush.
