3 out of 5 siblings are divorced. Is that a concern for someone looking into wifing one of them?

So my mother is one of 8. Only one of those ended in divorce, all married with kids. Of all those cousins, only one has been divorced. Out of all those cousins kids who have gotten married only one has been divorced. I know more married couples over divorced ones. I'm curious about that stat... Or is my family just anomaly?

It doesn't help, all else equal. Divorce has an element of social contagion about it. The more divorced people in a person's life the more likely they are to divorce themselves. However, if you understand more about the girl and how she differs from her sibs, you may find it isn't a huge issue.

Possible red flag. What are the reasons for divorce is the question. I've noticed this about toxic or unhappy or jealous women that they give bad advice to other women even their sisters. My older brother was about to marry a woman and the sisters and mother were absolutely toxic, nothing would do until they got them broken up and then his ex became very bitter and toxic after.

No because I would hate for my spouse to look at my siblings and compare me to them for someone who isn't like their siblings it would ruin me if they didn't want to marry me because my siblings was divorced they are their own person
