Why do some girls socialize with everyone and hate me after encourageing me to continue?

mabie i am overthinking but this one girl i met she would look at me and smile for a longer period of time and now told me she hates me because i looked back at her for to long... then i talk to her and we have a good conversation and she says i make her feel uncomftorble and unsafe did i do something wrong cause both instances seemed like it was fine... :(

ok thanks for the feedback followup question what if everyone you meet either loves or hates you for instance i have 4 freinds all of them are girls they all have liked me at some point and two freinds that are boys that dont seem to have a problem with me so ig what im saying is its something to consider but is there anything else it could be besides that
